About

My name is Tobiah Rosenblum and my first significant experience with games was playing Dungeons and Dragons. Seeing how this game brought people together and created friendships, I decided I wanted to be part of creating this experience. This led me to become a dungeon master, and ultimately to enroll in Champlain College where I graduated as a technical game designer, with a BS in Game Design and minor in Game Programming. During my time at Champlain College I learned the principles of game design, audio design, programming, and QA. I participated in multiple multi-disciplinary projects that lasted several months, with the end goal to create an engaging player experience for our target audience.

After graduating with honors from Champlain College, I started work as a level and sound designer for Impeller studios on their game In The Black for about a year. At this point I briefly left Impeller Studios to work on contract for Tertl Studos LLC as a unity developer. There I contributed in the initial design and prototyping for an educational iPad game for children. I also implemented a visual programming language and developed authoring tools for designers. After my contract, I returned to Impeller Studios where I am currently working as a level designer making new and exciting levels for players to enjoy.
