Description
In the Black is a realistic space SIM that takes players into a future where corporations own almost everything. Players are mercenaries who pilot space fighters and execute contracts to capture assets for corporations and destroy their rivals.
This is done through many different multiplayer and single player maps where players complete contracts, fight other players, and upgrade their ships.
Level Design
I’ve worked on In the Black for over three years as level designer in Unreal Engine 4. During this time, I have worked to create level documents, get them approved by my lead, and use Unreal and Blueprint to block out and implement the levels.
Community
I’ve interacted with players, held play sessions, reviewed player feedback on levels and systems, and written patch notes.
Strategy
I’ve been involved in strategic planning for the future direction of the game including monetization models and releases.

Development: I was contracted by Tertl Studos to work on a upcoming iOS educational game. I contributed to the initial game design along with other designers. I created a visual programing language for the game and tools for the designers.
